The Baltimore, Maryland native credits her introduction to music to her parents. Both her mother and father were musicians in their own right. Avid church goers, her mother would sing as she worked around the house and her father honed Jay Dee’s love for drums; so much so that in college she became the first female to make the drum line at Morgan State University. Cierra Wilson was born and raised in Cleveland,Ohio. Into a family of 9 (6 brothers 2 sisters). She was born in Morris Black but when she was 7 her and her family moved to a place called "30th"(in Cedar) a place that would change her life FOREVER. As she grew older she started having a love for music and its words. She wrote her first poem at the age of 12 after reading Maya Angelou's "Still I Ris...e". As the years passed family and friends started taking notice to Cierra's talent and were the ones who persuaded her to chase her dream ! At the age of 15 a street hustler over heard Cierra rapping and dubbed her "Jimmii Montana" because she has swag like Jim Jones and an attitude like Tony Montana. At the age of 18 she won her first battle against 9 boys at a 50 cent concert. Thats when she KNEW rapping/writing was her calling. Now, Jimmii Montana has been everywhere. Chinky Miyake is a Puerto Rican & Japanese born rapper who was raised in the city of Baltimore, MD. She has a sick fashion sense and a way with words that makes her unforgettable. She has performed at G2, Island Cafe, Everlasting Life Cafe, Cobalt, Howard University, South Carolina State, a Morgan State (Opening for Travis Porter), and recentyl the Sound of PRIDE tour.
